报告摘要:
The talk consists of a series of three lectures on metaheuristics and learning based heuristics as well as applications. The first lecture focuses on a tutorial on the basic notations and fundamental issues of the classical metaheuristics (local search, evolutionary algorithms and hybrid algorithms). This lecture also includes a number of application examples. The second lecture shows some recent developments in optimization methods that take advantage of learning and data mining techniques. Typical NP-hard problems (graph coloring, quadratic assignment) are used as illustrative examples. The third lecture focuses on the general Unconstrained Binary Quadratic Optimization (UBQO) and shows how metaheuristics can be effectively solve this challenging problem.
报告人简介:
Prof. Jin-Kao Hao holds the title of Distinguished Professor at the Computer Science Department at the University of Angers (France) and is Senior Fellow of the Institut Universitaire de France. He is known for his significant contributions to Metaheuristics. His research focuses on the design of effective algorithms and intelligent computational methods for solving large-scale combinatorial search problems. He has published over 300 papers including about 200 papers in SCI journals, and has co-edited 9 books in Springer’s LNCS series. He has served on some 200 program committees of international conferences and is on the editorial Board of 7 International Journals. He has about 14000 Google Scholar citations with an H-index of 63.
